LV - Wonderland.

Everytime I passes the shop windows of Louis Vuitton, I can't believe my eyes..
I mean look at this wonderful, extravagant decoration! This is more than just showing the products, this a LV-wonderland.

Every idea behind this design is really phenomenal. I think it needs hard to work to get this.
But what should I say - it's LV. They've got the money.

Nevertheless, I adore these shop windows, everytime a little bit more.

Go beyond the cover.

fashion magazine
Rick Genest will challenge your sensibilities about what you believe to be beautiful.

By 19 he was committed to his full body tattoo project and stayed loyal to Montreal artist Frank Lewis, who designed the majority of his body over the next six years.
To date Genest has spent over $17,000.00 on tattooing his body and will continue until his tapestry is finished.
In this moment, he has serendipitously become the ‘it’ muse for anyone who believes in a brave new world without judgment.
His international thrust into the spotlight is a true rags to riches story.
Nicola Formichetti, Lady Gaga’s personal stylist and the creative director of the legendary Paris based fashion house Theirry Mugler, was instantly fascinated.
The two clicked instantly and Formichetti invited Genest to Paris to model in the Mugler men’s fashion show.

Formichetti then cast Genest in his biggest role to date; a pronounced cameo in Lady Gaga’s video ‘Born This Way’ filmed in New York City.

His relationship with Formichetti has him pose for such magazines as GQ, Vanity Fair and Vogue Hommes Japan, as well as a collaboration with the juggernaut of the fashion photography world – the renowned —L’Enfant terrible Terry Richardson.
And also the fashion magazine shooted him:

Hand finished headwear of highest quality. Where do you still find that?!?
In Vienna, Austria.

Now in the fourth generation, Klaus Mühlbauer is leading the brand "Mühlbauer Hutmanufaktur seit 1903" back to its roots and in doing so, conquered the international market (see collage below).
By the way the collections are not only for women - they are also for men!

The production concentrates on hand-finishing, machines are only used for support.
  1. Starting point for felt hat production is a fur felt cone, a compactly felted cone-shaped fabric.
  2. In order to make the hat stable and weather resistant, the felt cone is soaked in a stiffening solution and then wrung out.
  3. The had mould is prepared.
  4. The damp felt cone is steamed under a bell in order to become stretchable and mouldable. It is removed from the seaming bell and stretched while still hot.
  5. The still hot and stretched felt hood is pulled onto a hat block and fixed tightly.
  6. The felt hood is now dried in a special oven at 70°C for approx. 2-3 hours.
  7. Finishing refers to the surface treatment of the shaped hat. In detail the hats are brushed, ironed, steamed and dried.
  8. The blocked and sanded hat now moves on to the millinery department. Here it receives its final polish.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Well, of course these wonderful sparkling stones are no diamonds - but it is the right direction ;)

This beautiful ball pen is first of all a wonderful present. It costs about 30 Euro - so the value for money is really okay!
Furthermore, it is a wonderful eye-catcher. You can choose one of about 10 colours.
Fuchsia, Greige, Purple Pearl, Indian Sapphire or Blue Pearl.
Mine is Vintage Rose.

You can buy it here for example.

Bamberg.

Yesterday I had a wondeful day in Bamberg.

There are so cute little shops, pretty coffee bars and old traditional houses.
Especially the flair in the beautiful historic center is homely and bewitching.

On the picture below you can see me in my traditional German dress "Dirndl".

Jewellery: Escapulario
shoes: ash Italia
bag: Liebeskind Berlin
